Joe McGillivray

Joe McGillivrayCEO & President

Joe began with Dynamic Group as a summer employee while attending Gustavus Adolphus College. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Management and was licensed as a Uniform Securities Agent. He returned to Dynamic as a Project Manager in 2002. During his career, Joe has also been an estimator, IT manager, and Vice President of Technology until his most recent position as President and CEO. He developed skills in Solidworks, Moldflow, Tool Design, Engineering, and Tool setups. Now as the leading figure of Dynamic, Joe strives to “make better” by encouraging sustainably delivered value to all Dynamic Group employees, customers, and the community.

Amy Crews

Amy CrewsVice President of Human Resources

Amy has been with Dynamic Group since 2014. She holds her Bachelor’s from the College of St. Catherine’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. She has worked for Pentair in Corporate Human Resources and Talent Management, as well as other HR positions in the manufacturing and telecommunications industry. Her strong skills in business and operations have also been applied to a family business for classic cars and owning and managing rental properties.

Molly Murray

Molly MurrayController

Molly joined Dynamic Group in 2015 as a Staff Accountant and quickly rose to the Controller position. She received her Bachelor’s from the University of St. Thomas, and her skills and responsibilities lay in all Financial Reporting and Analysis, Vendor Management, and IT. Over the past four years, Molly has developed an expertise in ERPs, most notably IQMS. She has also held previous roles in Accounting for two other manufacturing firms.

Brian Kalina

Brian KalinaDirector of Tooling

As a third-generation machinist, Brian has been rooted in Dynamic’s values and quality standards since its founding. He graduated from the Machine Tool Technology program at St. Paul College and became an official member of the Dynamic team in 1995. Since, he has held several positions within Dynamic Group including Tooling Production Manager, Tooling Project Coordinator, CNC Programmer, CNC/EDM Specialist, and Toolmaker.  Brian continues his support of industry education by overseeing the annual SkillsUSA Minnesota Precision Machining contest.

Joyce Ringwelski

Joyce RingwelskiDirector of Molding

Joyce joined Dynamic Group in 2017. She received a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Administration from Bethel University. She has over 25 years of experience in Operations and Quality for medical devices, defense, aerospace, and power generation. She worked for LAI International as Site Leader for Midwest Operations, for Coloplast as Head of Value Stream, and held positions at Mentor Corporation before it became Coloplast. She has earned her Lean Practitioner Certification through Manufacturers Alliance and her Lead Assessor Certification for ISO 9000 with Perry Johnson.

Paul Burmeister

Paul BurmeisterDirector of Engineering

Starting with Dynamic in 2018, Paul leads engineering and quality at our Unity location and is a major resource for Foley. He received a Bachelor’s from the University of Minnesota in Mechnical Engineering and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. His skills lay in quality systems, automation, 3D printing, and medical device product development. He has worked at Microfabrica, Stereotaxis and Boston Scientific in Research and Development, as a Manager of Engineering, and as Vice President of Business Development. He also has experience in consulting for private businesses.

David Kalina

David KalinaFounder & Director

David co-founded Dynamic Group in 1977 (then Dynamic Engineering). David is a graduate of Dunwoody Institute’s Machine Tool Technology program. David is a proud veteran of the United States Navy; he was the second highest graduate in the history of the Navy’s Machinery Repairman “A” School. He has served as President of the Twin Cities Chapter for the American Mold Builders Association, on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association, and on the advisory board for other manufacturing companies.

Peter McGillivray

Peter McGillivrayFounder & Director

Peter co-founded Dynamic Group in 1977 (then Dynamic Engineering).  He is a graduate of Staples Area Technical Institute, now known as Central Lakes College. He served in various Board positions for the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association, including President. He has been an Advisory Board Member for four different technical and community colleges in Anoka, Duluth, St. Paul, and Willmar. He recently completed over two decades as a judge for the Minnesota USA Skills competition. He has given national presentations, including at the National Tooling and Machining Association Convention.  Peter has always had an interest in educating young people about precision manufacturing. In that capacity he served on the Business Leadership Panel for the Anoka-Hennepin School District for over ten years and has given tours to thousands of students at Dynamic’s facilities.
